Advocacy - Nonviolence Coordinator

This position is responsible for community education and advocacy with a particular focus on our nonviolence training program, a modern application of Dr. King's Six Principles of Nonviolence. Dr. King knew that social change starts in the hearts and minds of people – when collective action is directed at changing oppressive systems, not expressed through violence. He believed in the Beloved Community as a realistic, achievable goal, attained by a critical mass of people committed to and trained in the philosophy and methods of nonviolence.
