Seniors are invited to join in community with friends and neighbors to learn, celebrate, grieve together. Seniors meet every other Tuesday in the Center. Future dates: 4/28/26, 5/12/26, 5/19/26, 6/9/26, 6/23/26.
Grief support provides a space for emotional support and healing for those living with lost and grief. Future event dates: April 25, May 23, June 27, July 25, August 22, September 26, October 24, November 21, and December 12.

Led by experienced instructor Kathy Johnson, it’s a great way to stay active, enjoy good music, and build community. Fridays at 12:45 PM in the MLK Center Dance Studio. Make your voice heard right here in your community. The MLK Center will serve as an official polling location for Indiana’s Primary Election on Tuesday, May 5. Polls will be open from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to stop by and cast your vote.
Join us on Thursday, May 7 at 6:00 PM for a special evening at the MLK Center celebrating our drone program graduates and the premiere of the Localmotion series. It’s a chance for our community to come together and celebrate the creativity and accomplishments of our youth.
This is the last day of classes for students who attend IPS schools throughout Indianapolis. More specifically, this will be the last school for students attending James Whitcomb Riley IPS 43. And it's our students' last day of afterschool programming before summer camp—more information will come soon.
